Visiting the Family of a Student

One day in August Juche 50 (1961), President Kim Il Sung visited a mountain village in Changsong County.

It was raining, and he called at a house.

The family members were surprised to see him unexpectedly.

After acquainting himself with the family situation while talking with the host, he opened a notebook of the student, who was studying at a desk, and spoke highly of him for writing letters well.

As he saw the student’s sister helping her mother who was preparing dinner in the kitchen, Kim Il Sung appreciated her, saying that it was good that she helped her mother.

After the leader left their house, the host and hostess of the family could not calm themselves as they were reminded of the leader’s care and tender heart for their children.

The leader’s care was not confined to only one family in Changsong County.

His love and affection, with which he regarded the children as kings of the country and raised them so that they would not envy anyone in the world, reached all the families across the country.
